communication and negotiate contracts more quickly, for the benefit of both the company and individuals who are starting new jobs at AS3. The protection of personal data The EU’s new personal data regulation is integrated in May 2018 and is of particular importance to AS3, since our business activities involve the management of personal data on behalf of our candidates. We think it is important that all candidates and customers who come into contact with AS3 are able to feel secure in the knowledge that we are of course compliant with the Danish Act on the Protection of Personal Data, also onwards into the future. We have therefore given the new personal data regulation top priority throughout our entire business. We have worked towards ensuring our ability to document that we are compliant with the Danish Act on the Protection of Personal Data and that we have written policies and procedures for those of our workflows and processes that involve personal data. We have already implemented a process for how employees should register any breach of data security, so that we can ensure that we become aware of problems as soon as possible. To ensure that all AS3’s employees are trained in the processing of personal data, we have drawn up a thorough training programme about the protection of personal data for our E-learning platform, AS3 Learning Centre. The programme is mandatory for all AS3 employees and we are paying close attention that the training is implemented in such a manner that we are able to ensure that we continue to comply with legislation and protect the personal data that we have been entrusted. Patient security We consider it important that all our candidates feel that they are in safe hands when they are with us. Therefore, it is also important for us to comply with all regulations pertaining to patient security in the parts of our business where this is particularly relevant. We have implemented a new procedure for the registration of any breach of patient security. This means that we can react quickly in the event of an error and improve our procedures and workflows on an ongoing basis, so we can ensure our compliance with applicable legislation. A digital well-being survey & prevention of stress Stress-related illness is a growing problem in our modern, Western society. It is therefore important that we as employers, and in society as a whole, focus on how we establish the necessary frameworks to allow as many people as possible to experience a healthy work-life balance. For a number of years AS3 has regularly conducted well-being surveys throughout the organization to ensure that we have a true and fair view of the well-being of the organization, and that we pick up signs of failure to thrive and stress early on, so that we have the opportunity to put in the necessary support for the individual employee. AS3 has developed a new digital well- being survey for our customers. Our aim is to offer a tool that enables frequent and flexible assessment of employee welfare, in order to catch signs of failure to thrive as early as possible and thus prevent stress. In 2018, the measurement is also implemented in our own organization. Reduction of stress Stress costs society in Denmark alone DKK 14 billion a year in the form of sick pay, premature deaths and costs to the health service. Stress-related illness is a growing problem in our modern, Western society. 10
