FORWORD In 2011, AS3 chose to commit to the ten principles of the UN Global Compact. We have thereby made a commitment to working with these principles within the context that makes sense for our company. Our joining the Global Compact is a signal to the world and ourselves that we take our share of the responsibility for solving some of the major challenges facing our society. AS3 is a value-based company. We want to act in a business-oriented and professional manner, for the long term. This means that we take on responsibility and do more than what is expected of us in our everyday work. It also means that we strive to live up to the expectations for an organization focusing on the social and societal responsibility. It is important to AS3 that we and our partners work based on the Global Compact principles. Although 2020 has been a different year in many ways, we have continued to work purposefully to make a positive contribution at a societal level. It has been an incredibly instructive year, where we, both as a workplace and in relation to our customers and candidates, have constantly had to adapt to the external environment. As a company characterized by accountability, it has been important for AS3 to act responsibly based on the health situation we have found ourselves in, while at the same time focusing on running a healthy business. This year, we have greatly benefited from the digitization initiatives of recent years, where we have been confirmed that our digitization strategy helps to secure the future of AS3. By virtue of our digital solutions, we have - despite the corona crisis - continued to be able to actively contribute to more people entering or returning to the labor market after a period of unemployment or illness. At the same time, we have been able to continue our contribution within health and wellbeing, both for the candidates we have in counseling and the companies we work with. Among other things, our focus on digitization means that we can reduce our reliance on transportation, reduce our paper consumption and can offer our candidates a wide range of solutions and opportunities that are more flexible and individually focused. In AS3, as always, we work to promote a good working environment in our own organization, where our organization of the AMO work supports it. However, a safe and healthy workplace is created first and foremost by all of us in everyday life; by our actions and our attitude to go to work. This report is our ninth Communication on Progress (COP) Report that we are submitting to the UN. The report presents the various topics relating to AS3’s social responsibility, which in particular has our attention. Happy reading! Allan Gross-Nielsen, CEO Page | 3
