Among our candidates who are in counselling, we are seeing an increasing number who are suffering from stress and are therefore on sick leave or have lost their job as a result of their illness. AS3 has developed our own stress training programme for employees who work with selected candidate target groups. In our counselling, we are meeting ever increasing numbers of candidates who are affected by stress. Therefore, we are increasingly recruiting employees with healthcare experience. Stress management is also increasingly becoming a theme in the internal training of our counsellors. We are also focusing on the prevention of stress within our own organisation. In order to achieve a full overview of the incidence and extent of stress reactions among our own employees, we register all stress- related sickness as health and safety incidents. This helps us to learn about the situations and circumstances that are causing stress among AS3 employees. On the basis of what we learn, we can initiate preventive initiatives. To ensure that managers at AS3 are able to accommodate and help an employee who is affected by stress in the best possible way, this topic is also a part of our internal management training. AS3 partnerships with pension and insurance companies AS3 Work&Care works alongside Nordic pension and insurance companies to help get people who are on sick leave back to work more quickly. Since 2015, we have been involved with a groundbreaking partnership with a larger Nordic pension company, which aims to retain the connection between employees who are on sick leave and the labour market. The results we have achieved have been outstanding. A large number of insured employees who were off work due to illness, who had little prospect of returning to their jobs have completed the Work&Cares programme. This has allowed them to return to their workplace, instead of lapsing further into their state of illness. This collaboration results in savings in sickness insurance payments, while at the same time supporting the ability of those who are on sick leave to return to their previous quality of life. People who are off work due to stress, depression or injuries that impede their movement receive counselling from AS3 Work&Care that helps them to manage their current state and gives them tools that can help prevent them finding themselves in similar situations in future. Our cross-disciplinary teams, consisting of psychologists, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dieticians and job coaches, ensure a targeted effort to help the individual and helps them to return to their job, or to find a new one. A digital network between candidates, former candidates and partners Each year, AS3 provides counselling to over 35,000 candidates and it has long been AS3’s ambition to make these candidates searchable and visible to enterprises who are in need of manpower. We have developed a digital network portal that connects candidates, alumni/previous candidates and partners, with the aim of bringing our candidates even closer to the labour market. This is our way of ensuring that they find better jobs, faster. At the same time, this means that we are able to offer our partners a unique and effective channel to help them find new employees. We call this solution “Triple Win”. Kandidat We will be working hard towards the further digital development of our portal, activating as many candidate and alumni profiles as possible and persuading as many interested enterprises as possible to enter the AS3 Triple Win partnership.
